Every luthier is an individual, so their instruments should be regarded as works of art that reflect all the building experience from each other.
The idea behind this section is to show all the handmade basses we have in doctorbass,net. Some are 100% handmade by a single person (Chris Larkin, Cristophe Leduc, MTD USA), whereas others are made by small companies and go from 100% handmade (Pedulla, Zon, Sdowsky etc.) to budget import versions that offer terrific value (Lakland Skylines, MTD Kingston, Heir & Saratoga).
A luthier can build the instrume tof your dreams. However, choosing the combination of woods, electronics and hardware is not an intuitive thing. Here's where you will take advantage of doctorbass.net experience. We have been selling handmade basses for years and we will give you the professional advice you need to have it right.
All the handmade instruments that we have in stock are of course for sale, but also double as examples of what these people can build for you.
