New bass from Spanish luthier José Merlos. This is a very personal Singlecut design and solves the head diving issue that is present in most 5 string basses. This bass features for the first time Merlos' own pickups. These are hum-free single coil pickups that just sound terrific. Obviously it mathces Merlos' own electronics perfectly. This allows the luthier to control the whole process more extenseively instead of relying on third part designs and components.
